In an older, renovated villa on Frederiksberg, choosing curtains is where functionality and aesthetics meet.

In the living room, where the family spends most of their time, curtains were selected in a warm, neutral tone. They complement the interior and help the room feel welcoming.

In the bedrooms, curtains were installed in two layers. The first layer is made up of sheer curtains that filter the strong sun beautifully and create a comfortable atmosphere when it gets dark outside.

The curtain choices were carefully considered to meet the residents’ specific wishes while also harmonising with both the room’s atmosphere and the architecture of the older villa.

In the dressing room, the large window section is left clearly visible. A fold curtain in linen quality was chosen, with a beautiful texture that comes into its own as the light moves through.

This solution is both practical and visually pleasing. It helps protect fixed furniture like the bench from the sun, while still ensuring privacy and blending in with the room’s style.

In the kitchen, a long, airy floor-to-ceiling curtain is combined with a fold curtain. Together, they show their best sides in the same space, and their quality ties the room together. The two styles are aligned with the homeowner’s preferences and practical needs.
