Guarantee
How long is the guarantee?
At Vivesti, we work with high-quality tailor-made solutions designed to last – and we stand behind that.
Our curtains and tracks are designed, sewn, and installed with a focus on long service life, function, and aesthetics. That is why we offer a 10-year guarantee on our tailor-made fabric curtains and curtain tracks.
The guarantee gives you peace of mind, knowing your solution is made to last, and our promise that we take responsibility if something, contrary to expectations, does not work as it should.
The guarantee applies exclusively to tailor-made fabric curtains and curtain tracks, and does not include roller blinds, pleated blinds, roller shutters, screens, motors, or other mechanical systems. For these, only the Danish Sale of Goods Act complaint right applies, which applies for 2 years from delivery.
What does the guarantee cover?
Vivesti’s 10-year guarantee covers defects caused by material or manufacturing faults, including:
- Manufacturing and material faults on curtain tracks
- Functional faults in tracks and running systems
- Stitching faults and manufacturing faults on tailor-made fabric curtains
The guarantee applies from the delivery date and assumes that the products are used correctly and under normal household conditions.
What does the guarantee not cover?
The guarantee does not cover conditions that are a natural part of use and wear over time, including:
- Normal wear and ageing
- Fading, and changes in light and colour over time
- Damage caused by incorrect use, accidents, or external influences
- Moisture, smoke, indoor climate conditions, or lack of ventilation
- Washing, cleaning, or maintenance that does not follow Vivesti’s instructions
- Adjustments or changes made by a third party
These are considered natural effects and therefore are not covered by the guarantee.
How is a guarantee case handled?
If, against expectations, a problem should arise, we always assess the case individually, with a focus on finding the best possible solution.
Vivesti reserves the right to:
- repair the product
- replace the affected part
- or offer a comparable solution
The guarantee does not cover consequential damages or indirect losses. Vivesti’s total liability cannot exceed the original purchase price of the product.
How do I use the guarantee?
Vivesti’s 10-year guarantee is a voluntary supplement to the Sale of Goods Act complaint right, which continues to apply for 2 years from delivery.
To use the guarantee:
- valid documentation (order number or invoice) must be provided
- the complaint must be made within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered
The guarantee applies exclusively to tailor-made fabric curtains and curtain tracks and does not include roller blinds, pleated blinds, roller shutters, screens, motors, or other mechanical systems.
