In Kongens Kvarter on Frederiksberg, there is a villa that has been fully renovated with respect for the period, where the owners have chosen to bring back the long, airy feel of the original floorside curtains, in sheer tones of pastels.
On the outside, the light curtains are paired again with a set of curtains in a light textile that moves with the smallest breeze, exactly as the owners want. The colours were selected together to echo what is already in the home: furniture, wallpaper, and historical wall colours.

This villa has an exceptionally strong flow of daylight, and the light curtains complement it while also softening it. They take the edge off intense, direct sun without feeling heavy. Vanilla, cream, and custard yellow tones were chosen to suit the furniture, walls, and floors.
With curtains from floor to ceiling, the windows become a living wall, never dull to look at. There is also a long curtain used as screening for a wardrobe in the hallway, because there is not enough room for large doors.
