If you do not want such information to be collected, you should delete your cookies and stop using the website. Below, we explain what information is collected, the purpose, and which third parties may have access to it.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies, which are text files stored on your computer, mobile phone, or similar device. They are used to recognize you, remember your settings, run statistics, and target advertisements. Cookies cannot contain harmful code such as viruses.

You can delete or block cookies. If you delete or block cookies, ads may be less relevant and appear more often. You may also experience that the website does not work optimally, and that you cannot access certain content.

Personal data

General

Personal data is all information that, to some extent, can be linked to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a range of such information. For example, this happens when content is accessed normally, if you sign up for our newsletter, take part in competitions or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, use our services in other ways, or make a purchase via the website.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: a unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet, or mobile phone, your IP address, geographic location, and which pages you click on (interests). To the extent that you provide explicit consent and enter the information yourself, we also process: name, phone number, email address, address, and payment information. This is typically in connection with creating a login or making a purchase.

Security

We have taken technical and organisational measures to prevent your information from being accidentally or unlawfully deleted, disclosed, lost, impaired, accessed by unauthorised parties, misused, or otherwise processed in breach of applicable law.

Purpose

The information is used to identify you as a user and show you the ads that are most likely to be relevant to you, to register your purchases and payments, and to deliver the services you have requested, for example sending you a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimise our website services and content.

Storage period

The information is kept for the period permitted under applicable law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storing it. For that reason, we cannot provide a general timeframe for when information is deleted.

Sharing of information

Information about your use of the website, which ads you receive and possibly click on, geographic location, gender and age segment, etc. is shared with third parties to the extent this information is known. You can see which third parties are involved in the “Cookies” section above. The information is used for ad targeting.

We also use a number of third parties to store and process data. These process information only on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. Sharing personal data such as name and email will only take place if you give your consent. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection.

Access and complaints

You have the right to be informed about which personal data we process about you. You may also object at any time to our use of information. You can withdraw your consent to the processing of information about you. If the information we process about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. You can contact us at: info@vivesti.dk. If you want to complain about our processing of your personal data, you also have the option to contact the Danish Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Publisher

The website is owned and published by:

Vivesti
Søborg Hovedgade 3
2870 Dyssegård
CVR: 41660503
Phone: +45 28 96 09 52
Email: info@vivesti.dk

Third parties

Third parties with access to cookies and information about the use of this site: Google, Meta

Data controller

We are the data controller for the processing of the personal data we process about our customers and business partners. We process only the information you provide in connection with our communication. We typically process the following ordinary information: name, email address, and phone number. Our legal basis for processing this personal data is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We delete our communication with you when it becomes clear whether you want our services or not. In special cases, there may be a need to store your personal data for a longer period.

Customers

We need to communicate with our customers to ensure that the service is delivered correctly. Through this, we may process information about name, address, services, special agreements, payment information, and similar details. The legal basis for processing this personal data is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Once the service has been delivered and any outstanding matters have been resolved, we will immediately delete the personal data.

Newsletter

We have a newsletter that you can choose to subscribe to, and you can always unsubscribe again. The purpose of the newsletter is to send subscribed emails with new information from the company, which may include new content on the website and advertising for our services.

We will only send you emails if you have given your active consent. This initially requires you to provide your email address, after which we send you an email so you can confirm your subscription. This ensures that you have actually subscribed yourself and given active consent to the newsletter.

Our legal basis for processing your personal data (your email address) in connection with the newsletter is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. We will process your personal data as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe from the newsletter, we stop sending it to you. If we have not sent you a newsletter for 1 year, your consent will lapse as a result of our inactivity. When you unsubscribe, we store your then previous consent for 2 years after it was last used due to limitation periods under the Danish Consumer Ombudsman’s spam guidance, section 11.3.

Accounting

We must store all accounting documents in accordance with the Danish Accounting Act. This means that we store invoices and similar documents for accounting purposes. This may include ordinary personal data such as name and address, and a description of the service. Our legal basis for processing personal data for accounting purposes is Article 6(1) of the GDPR. We store this information for at least 5 years after the end of the current financial year.

Data processors

Very few can do everything themselves, and the same applies to us. We therefore work with business partners and use providers, some of whom may be data processors. External providers may, for example, deliver systems to organise our work, services, advice, IT hosting, or marketing. It is our responsibility to ensure that your personal data is processed properly. That is why we set high requirements for our business partners, and our partners must ensure that your personal data is protected.

Sharing of personal data

We do not share your personal data with third parties.

Profiling and automated decisions

We do not carry out profiling or automated decisions.

Transfers to third countries

As a starting point, we use data processors in the EU/EEA, or those that store data in the EU/EEA. In some cases, this is not possible. In such cases, data processors outside the EU/EEA may be used if they can provide your personal data with adequate protection.

Data processing security

We keep the processing of personal data secure by implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures. We have carried out risk assessments of our processing of personal data and, based on that, implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to increase data processing security.

Rights of the data subjects

Under the GDPR, you have a number of rights regarding our processing of information about you. If you want to exercise your rights, you must contact us so we can assist you.

Right of access (right to be informed)

You have the right to obtain access to the information we process about you, and to certain additional information.

Right to rectification (correction)

You have the right to have incorrect information about yourself corrected.

Right to erasure

In certain special cases, you have the right to have information about you deleted before the time of our ordinary general deletion.

Right to restriction of processing

In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted. If you have the right to have processing restricted, we may in future only process the information, apart from storage, with your consent, or for the purpose that legal claims can be established, exercised, or defended, or to protect a person or important public interests.

Right to object

In certain cases, you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data. You may also object to the processing of your information for direct marketing.

Right to data portability

In certain cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to have those personal data transferred from one data controller to another without hindrance. You can read more about your rights in the Danish Data Protection Authority’s guidance on the rights of data subjects, which you can find at www.datatilsynet.dk.

Withdrawal of consent

Where our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent.

Complaint to the Danish Data Protection Authority

You have the right to file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority if you are not satisfied with the way we process your personal data. You will find the Danish Data Protection Authority’s contact details at www.datatilsynet.dk. We generally encourage you to read more about GDPR so you stay up to date on the rules.

Introduction When you visit our website, we collect information about you that is used to tailor and improve our content and ads.
